From the Earth is a programmatic jazz suite composed by Andromeda Turre, highlighting environmental justice and the interconnectedness of humanity and the Earth. This innovative suite takes listeners on a journey through four concertos—Earth, Sky, Sea, and Ice—exploring the impact of climate change on communities across North America, intricately weaving interview segments from community members throughout the music.
